The Study for Technical Analysis on the Development Potential of Multi-Zone Oil, Gas in Crossfield, Canada

Crossfield is located in the province of Alberta Canada and one most well-known reservoirs hydrocarbons. Since 1950s, there has been continuous exploitation more than 10 formations such as Cardium, Viking, Ellerslie, Elkton, Shunda, Wabamun. Because its location near Foothills, southwestern part Western Sedimentary Basin, area a complex geology relatively deeper reservoirs, therefore requiring an in-depth examination each formation. In this study, geological, technical, economic analyses were performed on formation within sections study lands area. As result was potential for drilling 48 horizontal wells Cardium A zone Viking addition, it turned out to be economically feasible even at WTI price 60 dollars per barrel considering Alberta’s Royalty Framework, which determined by production rate oil, Horizontal Oil New Well Rate feature. further required investigate B zone, Elkton
